🥁 MY FIRST GROOVE – Children's Drumming Workshop 🎶

Join us for an exciting 4-day summer drumming workshop where kids will discover the joy of playing the drums in a fun, creative, and supportive environment!

Throughout the workshop, children will take their very first steps into the world of drumming. They'll learn:

✨ How to hold and use drumsticks
✨ How to coordinate hands and feet
✨ How to play their very first drum groove
✨ Rhythm through fun games, movement, and interactive exercises

Each session builds on the previous one, helping every child gain confidence while having lots of fun.

🎵 Grand Finale!
On the last day, family and friends are warmly invited to join us as each child performs their very first groove along with a song! 🌟

📍 Workshop Details

👧 Age: 7–13 years
🥁 Experience: No prior drumming experience needed
👥 Maximum participants: 8 children (small groups for the best experience)
📅 Dates: August 6–9
🕑 Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM (with 1 break)
* The workshop is free to attend but require the registration.

About the educator: Andrés Tarrab

Andrés is an argentinian drummer and educator with 20 years of experience working with children (in Argentina and abroad).
He approaches children's music education in a playful “non-conservatoire” way, teaching the fundamentals of drums and music in a happy and fun environment.
As a drummer, in the last years he played in important events such as Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Venezia Jazz Festival, Out Jazz Lisbon and Aarhus Jazz Festival, among many others.

Andres is a frequent visitor here at Kruttverket / Kroloftek: last year he did a Latin Rhythms Workshop for Children with Odguer Hernandez (another latin friend of Kruttverket).
