Women in Love with the Divine — Book Presentation with Erica Bassani

What can women across different spiritual traditions teach us about faith, devotion, power, and what it means to live a spiritual life in the world?

Join author Erica Bassani for a presentation and conversation around her new book, Women in Love with the Divine: A Seeker’s Exploration of Faith, Practice, and Feminine Power, published by Shambhala Publications.

The book grew out of Erica’s conversations with twelve women teachers and practitioners from Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, Taoism, and nondual traditions. Through their stories, she explores a spirituality shaped not only by transcendence and renunciation, but also by relationship, embodiment, service, courage, and everyday life.

During the event, Erica will share the story behind the book, read selected passages, and open a conversation around women’s spiritual lives and the ways women are reshaping the sacred from within.

Short bio

Erica Bassani is an Italian author, interviewer, and founder of the Women Awakening Project, a multimedia platform exploring women’s spiritual lives and voices. She is the author of Women in Love with the Divine (Shambhala Publications, 2026). Her interviews and writing have appeared in Tricycle, Hinduism Today, and Spirituality & Health. She is now based in Oslo.
